When I write here often I will say I don't have editing skills. I realized today that is not entirely true. I do have editing skills.
The problem becomes for me that each project that I write like a short story or a small book (when you add them together) becomes like one of my children. in other words I want to protect something that is sacred to me. So, one could say that writing is a part of my personal religion in that I'm creating and living in the heaven realms as I do this because I'm usually writing about real lifetimes in the past, present and future on this and other timelines.
So, it's not that I don't have good editing skills it's that it is too personal for me to edit without feeling I have hurt my children that I'm writing about in my past, present and future lives.
When you write about past, present and future lives you have lived already each lifetime is a lot like one of your many children. It's about the same thing. And they all are your alter egos to this lifetime and like relatives of yours.
If you can integrate all this kind of stuff it might make you immortal in various ways.
