Right now the Atmospheric River is hitting Eureka but soon it will be hitting further south on the California Coast

We expect about 8 feet of new snow in the Sierras between now and next Sunday for example which is good for the state's water needs as long as it doesn't melt off too fast. The longer the snow stays in the Sierras the better off we will be next September through October or November next year.
