It sounds like many records will be broken in the storms from Texas north and East this week

At the bottom is a link to the article I'm referring to inside the black line. As I read this weather story I realized this is a record breaking series of storms and very unlike any other April mostly in U.S. history.

It's also true that rain in April is somewhat unusual in California and if we get more rain in May that is even more unusual. Most of our rain is from September or October to March historically. But, this year no rain to speak of in January, February or March (the historically rainiest months of the year). This is so unusual that it hasn't happened since the 1800s. So, extreme weather conditions are here in the U.S. ongoing. 1/3 of the Chinese Wheat crop failed from flooding and they will have to buy more wheat. But, the wheat they normally buy is from Ukraine and Southern Russia but that wheat isn't being grown now because of the war. So, it's safe to say that many nations won't be able to afford wheat the rest of this year from Europe to Asia in that whole range of countries.
