Looking at the weather radar it shows the rain and snow to the east of us mostly now. It is still snowing in the Sierras to our east and between here and the Sierras. I'm near San Francisco on the coast. It began raining here by 8 or 9 am this morning and rained until the last 1/2 hour or hour or so. There was enough rain to create a mud puddle at the end of our driveway that is still there so I'm thinking we must have gotten at least a 1/4 of an inch of rain. As of 1pm Monday the deck leading to my back yard is still wet and hasn't dried off yet and the sky is still cloudy but the weather man said it likely would clear up and be sunny by about 3 pm(so within a couple of hours.
But, on the radar map there is rain and snow between here and Seattle coming down and then there is rain and snow between here and Idaho Falls and Wyoming coming down also from this storm. So, it is a pretty big storm if it came down this far south into California and stretches all the way to Seattle and Wyoming already.
