It's really cold (at least for this area) right now

The low tonight is about 40 degrees which might not seem low depending where you live in the U.S. right now. The temperature when I woke up is 50 but the high for the day is only 53 which is also really cold for here along the ocean. We get much lower temperatures inland at night often into the 30s but even a 37 to 39 is very unusual and rare along the coast because the oceans keep it warmer than inland. Then if you go all the way to the Sierras it can get into the 20s and below that a lot from the Sierras across the U.S. but not right along the coast because the water of the ocean keeps it warmer than that. If there ever were another Ice age and we saw it here in the U.S. I'm thinking that the ice and snow would start at the Sierra Nevada Mountains and go to the

rest in between as ice and snow for thousands of years. Traditionally, Global Climate changes eventually bring on Ice Ages. However, since the present one is human caused it is anyone's guess what actually will happen next.
