What a crazy day in the news today. I found I had trouble sleeping tonight wondering what it all means both in the short term and in the long term worldwide?
I think having a spiritual practice to keep yourselves glued together somehow now might be important to many people so they don't just run screaming off a cliff or something of both parties.
I finally decided saying anything good or bad or indifferent or even sharing the news might not be useful for Americans or for the rest of mankind at this time. It reminds me a lot of watching the planes fly into the twin towers in New York. The only real difference is 3000 people didn't die today. But, the feeling of the hopelessness that today brings is somewhat the same for America AND the world.
So, anything I put in my blog about this I removed tonight realizing it wasn't helpful because we all need to be doing our spiritual practices about now or else we too might not survive what is coming now for all of us (not just Americans here on earth) at this time in our lives.
