Comte de Saint Germain: "One of the Greatest Philosophers that ever lived?"

  begin quote from:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Count_of_St._Germain

He is said to have made far-fetched claims (such as being 500 years old),[5] leading Voltaire to dub him "the Wonderman", and that "he is a man who does not die, and who knows everything".[6][7] Charles, the prince of Hesse-Kassel, is recorded as having called him "one of the greatest philosophers who ever lived".[8]

end quote:

Being a philosopher is to be a party to philosophical inquiry. Philsophical inquiry is basically where all sciences came from  regarding this kind of thinking. So, without this kind of thinking there would be no technology, no medicine, no transportation on land or air or sea and likely there would not be many people alive on earth right now either without philosophical inquiry.

Rational Thought has to start somewhere.
