When we returned from Santa Barbara yesterday it had been 84 in Paso Robles which was the warmest it had been since Santa Barbara. The Temperatures (highs) were from about 68 to 75 from last Thursday until Sunday when we left there so there was a lot of sun once the morning fog and clouds burned off most days there.
However, also when we returned yesterday it was foggy and drizzling here on the coast where we live within a mile of the beaches here. So, we knew fall or even winter weather had set in likely to stay awhile.
Today a friend driving slowly south to San Diego where he lives stopped off and is visiting us for a few days which is nice to have a visitor with it being so drizzly a lot of the day especially overnight. It was onl 62 degrees and cold and drizzly when we went to the beach still at around 5:30 Pm today too. It was so cold and windy and drizzly we were the only ones on the beach when we first got there too to walk our Blue Merle Corgi Dog.
But, all in all it's good to be home even with the drizzle and one of our housekeepers made us some nice soup for dinner tonight too so that was cozy and sort of a winter dinner too. So, even though it's drizzly and wet outside we just turned the thermostat up to 70 so we are cozy and warm tonight. So, all is well.
