Some countries might make various kinds of AI illegal and this is sure to happen. However, those same countries could also be overrun by other countries making the illegal types of AI too where that whole country will be wiped out completely because they make one kind of AI or another illegal.
So, this whole century looks like a very bumpy ride for all mankind indeed.
Which is worse Global Climate changes or AI?
I think AI could solve our Global Climate change problems completely.
However, then can we survive AI?
This to me is the most important question that needs to be asked.
