The way I see it Timeline Changes are a lot like Earthquakes, they change everything. Houses move cars move, swimming pools splash out of pools and gush across people's back yards.
In somewhat the same way, planes crash during time shifts, cars and trucks crash more during time shifts. Houses don't go off foundations like they do during earthquakes usually but being aware when one is happening or going to happen will tend to keep more of you alive who can sense things like this so you know when NOT to get on a plane or into a car or ride a bicycle or motorcycle or many other things.
Sensing when time shifts are happening or going to happen helps keep people alive and unharmed. This is the best way to say this.
When Time shifts are happening now it is 2 or more sides wanting different things like a regular war here on earth.
Often Weather warfare is now happening too.
Why are people fighting using weather warfare and time changes?
The primary reason is it avoids telling most people what is actually going on so they see these things as acts of God rather than being directed consciously against them by powers fighting here on earth and throughout the galaxy.
The only people that actually want humans to stay alive in this are the Galactic Government. Most people fighting using time here on earth seem to be pretty PTSD already so not entirely sane in how they operate.
So, if I was going to trust someone to save my life in all of this I would trust the Galaxy over all the people using time machines to change everything.
I'm not even sure it is useful to call them time machines because often it is somewhat different like this. Maybe time belts or time rings or time watches rather than calling them time machines at least at this point in time.
