He is fighting the Revolutionary War all over again. He's still pissed about losing America to the American people's and it becoming it's own democracy. So, he's come back to try to defeat the Americans this time. We see the writing on the wall. Will he succeed in ending democracy? Unknown at present.
However, he is already talking about not having midterm elections because he doesn't see the need.
So, I guess it's up to the American people what happens next. In the end it's our country since 1776 not his.
