Eventually, we wanted to try to raise a German Shepard dog from a puppy but we chose one that was the Grandson of a Champion Schutzhund  World Champion which was a mistake because we were too elderly and my health wasn't good enough to handle a dog like this. So, we bought this amazing puppy for about $2500 dollars but within a few months it had my wife by the neck with his teeth. We realized that we were the wrong people to have such a smart aggressive dog like this because we couldn't really train it at our age. Also, my wife is a very sweet and kind person but unless she was the Alpha (and that wasn't going to happen with this dog) we needed to not have her be a Dead Beta to this Dog as Alpha so we gave this dog back to the breeder and asked he find it another home. He is now a Police Dog in Los Angeles and likely got Schutzhund training like his grandfather was a World Champion at. But, this dog is wonderful but more like a wolf in many ways than simply a dog so be careful of this brilliant intelligent and Alpha Dog.
