We got her from a Breeder in Redding California in 2020 and unfortunately for the lady's daughter she had bonded with this dog but I think it was good for us. So, this 8 or 9 year old was crying when they gave this dog to us. We said, "Maybe you should keep this dog?" but the mother said: "We have enough dogs already she just really bonded with this one. This has been one of the most affectionate and intelligent dogs I have ever met. And she is likely the most intelligent Female dog I have ever met and my wife especially is bonded with her a lot. she treats me more like a Litter mate and she was the Alpha of her litter mates so often it is funny because she used to try to bite my foot when I went to bed at night. I'm sort of a night owl and she wants me (herding dog) to stay in bed like she wants me to. So, this mostly was just humorous to me most of the time as long as she didn't draw blood on one of my feet. But, now she is almost 6 years old (born in 2020) so she is much more mellow now and likely one of the best pets that my wife and I ever had.

However, this is a herding dog like a German Shepard and Australian Shepard and other extremely intelligent dogs bred for intelligence. However, herding dogs need something to do more than other dogs so my housekeeper invented a game when she was a puppy where we use 4 to 6 inch geodesic rubber balls and we play doggy soccer some every day with her with multiple balls. So for her this is kind of like playing chess with us and stimulates her extreme intelligence and keeps her mentally active and much happier. Also, she goes with me or me and. my wife to the beach often with walks because wey from  only live a mile away from the ocean here on the Northern California Coast.
