Majority of Americans oppose free trade: WSJ/NBC poll-
To fully understand this article, it is important to understand that Americans aren't against Free Trade WITHIN the United States but are against Free Trade now with other countries because this has just meant that all our jobs get shipped overseas to other countries. Doing this has only bankrupted our once free and proud nation. So unless we pull back from this suicidal way of presently doing business we will only become a Banana Republic. If the U.S. doesn't protect itself, it's wealth and it's citizens we will be nothing. A strategy must be formed and lived or else the majority of the people in our nation will be living like 3rd world people all over the world very soon. And everything our ancestors have worked for hundreds of years to build will be lost and our democracy will be no more.
Basically, the U.S. has grown fat and lazy from being on top and calling the shots since World War II. So if we don't adapt to the world the way it is (Because we are not on top anymore) then it's curtains for our nation. The other problem is that when extreme situations like this arise it tends to create "Extreme" or Hitler or Stalin types of Governments in the world. So beware of people with extreme solutions to our problems because we might just go from the frying pan and into the fire as a nation or as a world.
Similar problems to now created both the extreme parts of the Great Depression and Hitler himself making war on Europe.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
