why Should you Write your own Creation Story

Why should you believe a Creation Story that predates most modern Science? Why Shouldn't you describe your own personal experience of the Universe?

If you look at all the tribes I have studied all over the world, they all had their individual creation stories mostly.

A Tribe's Creation Story is their personal identity as a Tribe.

Why shouldn't an individual have their own creation story too?

I find myself synthesizing all the Creation Stories in the world sometimes, integrating all the things that actually make sense to me and combining them with my personal experience with life since I was born.

In doing this you empower yourself in your life. In empowering yourself you take away all limitations put upon you by others. Often they didn't mean you any harm but were victims themselves of how people treated them growing up.

The more you can figure things out for yourself the happier you are going to be.

One of the hardest things for me to fathom was what I fathomed in my 30s.

I once believed that all you have to do is to find sincere people because I thought sincere people were the answer.

However, sometimes misdirected sincere people are going to get you killed or seriously harm you in various ways. We all have seen this first hand.

So, understanding that people can be both sincere and wrong at the same time is what it is like to truly be a thinking adult capable of "Critical Thinking".

Because without Critical thinking "LIFE CAN BE VERY SHORT INDEED" and we see this in people's lives around us from childhood onward who are very sincere but wrong but soon are dead or crazy along the way.

Without Good decisions life can end pretty quickly.

And how do you get good information?

Good Decisions.

And how do you make good decisions?

Often if we survive our bad decisions we might learn to make good decisions and still be alive in our 70s to 90s or beyond.

Why is writing your own Creation story important?

 I think it's important after studying about many many creation stories in American Indian Tribes and in groups of people all over the world.

How you describe your relationship with reality as you know it is very important in trying to be true to yourself and to all life around you.

It is my experience that all life is alive and that there is no real way to separate ourselves from rocks and trees and plants and oceans and oceans of Air that circle our planet. In other words we are never really alone because all life is there with us as our family. This is my experience in nature that nature is my family.

I especially live near the ocean because it makes me feel at peace to watch the waves break upon the shore and to see all the sea birds running around near the waves in larger groups of birds. It is also wonderful to see the Pelicans glide on the wind up and down the coast after they finish feeding on fish that day. They just ride the air currents up and down the coast like people flying paragliders too or hang gliders.

So, writing your own creation story can empower you in your life and make your life more real and feel less fake to you. 

On one level cities are all fake and nature if left alone is all real (from my point of view).

So, I think seeing a city as an art work crafted by many people might be the most useful way to look at them. They are not permanent even though they seem like they are. They are temporary like everything humans build is temporary. However, nature left to it's own devices is permanent if we let it be.

Global Climate changes are bringing back nature in a new form in a different way which is going to change all humans who continue to survive here on earth.

So, by writing your own creation story you also empower yourself to stay alive and to enjoy life here on earth. Otherwise it is hard to not feel fake in your life or just feel like a piece of art in someone else's art gallery.

If you can be the architect of your own life a beginning is often your writing your own creation story.

This is what I presently believe after living 76 years mostly in California and Hawaii during my lifetime.

Your Own Creation Story

One of the reasons I write is that I hope to awaken in you your own creation stories that you can either write of, video tape or tape record yourselves talking about your experiences of what life really is, writing music of your experiences of life, or drawing pictures of your experiences of life. Or just living your own true experience of what life is. Other people's (even my experiences I write about) may not be your experience. This is one reason why I consider religions to be obsolete. We are all our own religion. We all have a direct relationship with the creator. And anyone we let come between us and the creator we must do very very carefully if at all. Guarding your relationship with the Creator and not letting anyone violate that is your key to both a long life and your sanity and health. Anyone who interferes with that might cost you your life. Remember that even if you don't remember anything else I ever write. Protect your own relationship with the Creator of life. Your own long life and sanity depend upon it. Your own personal covenant with God and life is the most useful and powerful thing you will ever have.
