Some Californians might leave who live in drier places with trees and wild grasses and Chaparall but I live on the coast where there is more moisture from fog off the ocean

Where I live in northern California the redwoods, pines and oaks live off mostly the fog off the ocean that comes in many nights (and days) during the year. Lately my deck is wet every morning for the last few weeks even if the fog burns off by noon or 3 pm of any given day. This morning it was so wet the deck was still wet until 1 or 2 pm. So, the plants and trees stay greener in places like this along the coast.

But, if you drive 10 or 20 miles inland it is very dry this year and the humidity is often between 12% to

25% which is often when fires occur if there is a wind with humidity that low in combination. So, if you live where trees or Chaparall are that are dry you might consider moving if you have already been burnt out in your home one or more times already here in California.
