What does it mean to be a Long Lived Saint?

People like Jesus come in and are gone by 33 or so. People like Gautama Buddha might live a full life and die in their 80s or after that.

A long lived Saint could live theoretically to ANY age.

I learned that there were long lived Saints like Babaji of the Himalayas in "Autobiography of a Yogi" for the first time. I learned also about Lahiri Mahasaya who worked for a railroad and had a family. It said he was a Householder Yogi but also a Guru and teacher of Swami Sri Yuteswar Giri who was the teacher of Yogananda in India before he came to the U.S. in 1914 and eventually settled in Southern California. Lake Shrine and the Encinitas Hermitage still exist by the way in Southern California. I have been once to Lake Shrine on Easter 1973 and when I returned to Rancho Bernardo Easter Evening Saint Germain appeared to me and my body turned into one of Saint Germain's bodies on earth. I have been very different and blessed since that Day. I had just turned 25 that year and had spent my 25th Birthday at horse camp in 20 feet of snow then. I stayed there at Horse Camp up on Mt. Shasta at tree line alone several days writing and playing my new then Yamaha 6 nylon String Guitar I gave myself for my 25th birthday. I have been to Encinitas Hermitage many times and I like Swami's beach there that many surfers like too. I have experienced healings too at the Encinitas SRF Hermitage especially in the garden there that Yogananda used to frequent. As a child there were two really great vegetarian restaurants owned by SRF one at Encinitas and one in Hollywood. I have eaten many times at both as a child in the 1950s with my parents since I was raised from birth a lacto Ovo Vegetarian (this just means you are a vegetarian but also eat milk and eggs (sort of like India). I'm about a 95% vegetarian still and I have a friend who still has never eaten meat his entire life and is almost my age.

Now I'm 72 years old and I'm still alive.

God may come to you and keep you alive when you expect to die like I did by 25. But, here I am still at 72 still alive by God's Grace.

Life is Amazing!

The Lord moves in Truly Amazing Ways!

By God's Grace
