The Real Dangers of Being Politically Correct

Being politically correct would be like saying, "Welcome to Florida with our beautiful lakes and rivers" without telling people that if they wade or swim it might be likely that they or their children could be eaten or maimed by alligators. The same with Louisiana and other southern states with alligators in their waterways. This is the real problem that I see with political correctness.
EVERYONE WANTS THINGS TO BE PERFECT BUT THEY AREN'T.  And when you tell people they ARE perfect people sometimes get maimed or die.

So when Juan Williams was fired from NPR I went, "Oh NO! Political Correctness strikes again" because what he said paraphrased, "When I see people in obvious Muslim Garb getting on a plane with me I'm scared".  This is basically what most all non-Muslims feel with they see this. If they are politically correct they won't tell you. But then that leaves the alligator in the water which is a lie if you don't tell people about it.

So, basically what I'm trying to say is if you won't let people speak their fears in public then you have to be ready to witness horror over and over again. It's just human nature when lies are told.

Yes. We would all like the world to be a fairy tale where everyone lives happily ever after. But it just isn't going to happen like that. I believe that politeness is the glue of society that makes it work. But then there are fairy tales and in the real world fairy tale speaking only leads to real life horror!

But also as a caveat all people know that All Muslims aren't terrorists. But after the last ten years of absolute chaos and leading to a world economic meltdown people are scared, tired and burned out and have lost patience with everyone including themselves. This is a very dangerous time we live in, even more dangerous than 9-11.
