China considers Naval and Military Presence in Seychelles

China is considering a proposal from the Seychelles, a tiny island nation off the coast of East Africa, for Chinese navy ships to use its ports to rest and take on supplies while participating in antipiracy patrols, according to both governments.
The Seychelles has also proposed that China base military reconnaissance aircraft and personnel at its main airport, from where the U.S. operates surveillance drones, the Seychelles' foreign minister, Jean-Paul Adam, said in an interview with The Wall Street Journal.
If China were to use the Seychelles simply as a port of call it wouldn't necessarily concern the U.S. and--- end quote.

Could this have anything to do with the following?

US Drone Crashes In Seychelles

When I first read this "U.S. Drone Crashes in Seychelles" I hadn't read yet that it crashed at the International airport their under U.S. military supervision. However, it is possible that the same thing that brought down the drone in Iran might have also brought down the drone in the Seychelles. Only this time it was really wreckage without much left of it.

So, is it possible that the Chinese Navy is coming to the Seychelles to learn more about U.S. drones? That is likely one of the reasons that they are going there.
