The Importance of Enlightenment

The first reason a person chooses to become enlightened is so he or she doesn't have to suffer in their mind and soul ANY MORE.

The second reason that someone chooses to become enlightened is to hopefully be able to help others directly through prayer, through right mindful actions or words for the rest of their lives and hopefully ways can be found to preserve the lessons of that person's enlightenment on into the future if and when that person passes on.

So, what causes suffering. I can speak mostly about what I have seen that causes suffering in the western World. What causes suffering in the western world is someone interested in scaring people into giving money to one church or another. So, if as a child you are told (brainwashed incessently) that you are a bad person and are going to hell unless you do this or that and tithe money and live a really awful life that you are going to hell. Then, people wanting to make money off your suffering is the cause of people's personal hells. For example, in the mind of someone interested in this kind of mind control of you for money it goes something like this, "Unless you give and give to us and maybe give us 10% of everything you own or even more then you are going to hell".

Or, it can just be an evil parent or relative saying something like, "Unless you work and work for me even though you are only 5 years old and then work until you are 30 years old for me then I will turn you out of my home and reject you and never speak to you again."

On the one hand there are some people who get all this into perspective and just train people to be gentlemen and gentle ladies and to be kind to themselves and all others. And these people are good people and the salt of the earth. But whenever people start talking about ANYBODY going to Hell you can be sure that there is mental illness or psychological problems or violence or death of one person or one group or another soon to come in relation to that group of people. If anyone starts telling you you are going to hell, you know immediately that you are listening to someone mentally not right in the head.

Because rational sensible people never talk like that, only extremists and potentially violent people do.

So, separating from anyone torturing you like this is one of the first things you want to do as an adult. Those that don't often wind up dead or mentally ill themselves.

So, enlightenment is what frees you from many kinds of suffering.
Enlightenment frees you from Drugs
Enlightenment frees you from Crazy religious people telling you you are going to hell.
Enlightenment frees you from your own craziness by teaching you to be kind to yourself and all other beings.
Enlightenment helps you move towards getting the best education you can possibly get
Enlightenment will move you anywhere in the world that you need to go to become enlightened
Enlightenment can be very lonely at times but also very empowering. So sometimes you go your own way but you won't be enslaved mentally by others.
By Becoming enlightened no one can fool you about anything anymore. And you have no reason at all to be fooling anyone else either because you are enlightened. But you do have the obligation of trying to share what you learned regarding any and all subjects that you learned about during your path towards  enlightenment either through writing or videos or art or music or any or all medias that you might be interested in.
