Today is the 12th day of the 12th month of the 12th year in 2000 so a whole lot of people got married around the world because they wanted their anniversary on something they could remember. For example, my wife and I announced the birth of my now 23 year old daughter on 8-08-88 or the 8th day of the 8th month of the 88th year. And also I was alive for 7-07-77 too. I would have been 29 then. Also a whole lot of people are scheduling their c-Sections so their kids can have this birthday too today as well all across the U.S. Last year on this day I think it was there were about 450 weddings on this date in 2011 but today there were over 9000 weddings on this day today here in 2012 just here in the U.S.
