Unusual structures turned into homes

This looks a lot like my old Fire Lookout that I worked at in the mid 1980s except below the walkway mine was wrapped in Aluminum siding and had a garage on the ground floor for my 4 wheel drive. In the Spring I could see across the Sacramento Valley and San Joaquin Valley a hundred miles of white capped peaks of the Sierras which was quite a site then in the 1980s. I did this 6 months a year as a seasonal job, usually from Spring to Fall during Fire Season. The 6 months off in 1985 I paid a relative to run my wife's and my business and we took our kids (then 10 to 14) and flew to Japan, Thailand, India and Nepal for 4 months. That was an amazing experience!
