The problem I have with the previous article

What the world would look like if all the ice melted

The problem I have with this article is that there are other scenarios that could also take place while greenhouse gases increase inevitably now over the years. For example, just like in "The Day After Tomorrow" another catastrophic event could also be triggered along the way. For example, in one scenario a large volcano goes off and keeps on clouding up the skies combined with greenhouse gases to where the sun over a lot of the earth is obscured for 1 or more years. So, this changes the scenario when not enough sunlight reaches the earth from the combination. Then crops cannot be grown and snow falls in northern climes and it becomes an ice age except for equatorial areas. This is possibly equally likely to happen.

So, the real problem of Global Climate change is that it is out of control and amplified by greenhouse heating of the atmosphere. But, it is also possible that too many clouds that block out the sun combined with volcanic eruptions can bring ice ages too. It is sort of like once the pendulum starts swinging energy wise it could go either direction or eventually both directions just as easily as just one direction.
