The main problem of all secret government agencies on earth gathering everything they can on everything and everyone on earth is not the 95% of the people loyal to that government (one of over a hundred governments on earth) but the 5% that will be perfectly interested in selling this information to literally anyone or any government, or any criminal or individual worldwide.
This is the problem of the era we live in.
It used to be only the heads of the CIA and KGB could blackmail literally every human on earth or to their deaths (whichever came first). But, now it is literally anyone anywhere that can pay someone for ANY information they want on anyone worldwide.
So, in this age, ANYONE can be blackmailed because all people on earth have secrets they don't want to be revealed. This blackmail will always result in deaths, bankruptcies, suicides and torture worldwide.
So, along with any positive results of the capacity to store information comes the problem of people trying to find out literally ANYTHING they want about anyone. And this kind of information closes businesses, ends marriages, ends relationships, kills people, harms people on all levels.
So, even if 95% of the people are loyal to their governments secret agency worldwide, still 5% will have no problem selling All information gathered to the highest bidder no matter who that information kills or harms worldwide.
And this, is the world we all live in right now here on earth.
