Endoscopy Concerns After Rivers' Death »
I have had the type of endoscopy where they numb the inside of one of your nostrils and then stuff a little camera down into your throat through one of your nostrils. It tends to bleed a little but I was having a problem in my throat and wanted someone to look at it. I had been diagnosed with a hypothyroid condition in 2006 so I started taking various doses of Armour Thyroid which is the most natural way to continue with this condition. However, I wondered whether one of my thyroid glands might be having problems beyond not producing enough thyroid for my body so I had a Ear Nose and throat specialist look into my throat.
Her procedure (Joan Rivers) might have been much more involved with putting her completely out (unconscious) whereas I am self disciplined in a way young men were trained to allow a procedure like this without freaking out since the 1950s with only local numbing. So, in the future if you have this procedure I might recommend not being knocked out for it if you can handle it so you don't have a problem like Joan Rivers did with too much anesthetic of a kind she might have either been allergic to or too much of it.
