Some of the Dangers of the North Korean Cyber Attack on Sony

If North Korea gets away with this there is nothing to stop North Korea, China or Russia or other nation or nations from doing the same thing. Unless an example is made of north Korea the Cyber World will end anything controversial worldwide.

Since in the end, (EVERYTHING) IS CONTROVERSIAL) one must also realize we may be witnessing the end of Cyber business at the very least and possibly the end of the Internet with this action. (At least in how this all relates to the Internet and Business Emails and Social Security numbers and private information.)

So, either North Korea is dealt with harshly or we likely are witnessing the end of freedom of press and freedom of artistic expression here on earth for the most part. (In regard to emails, business and the Internet) Or we may be witnessing simply the end of the Internet's relationship with businesses or the end of business emails worldwide.

So, let's watch and see what happens next.

I have predicted many times here at my blog site that if Cyber warfare goes beyond a certain point between nations the Internet will end.

We may have reached that point especially if this was Russia and China testing through North Korea what would happen if they did this?

Time will tell.

Since North Koreans might not culturally understand just how serious what they have done, here are some of the potential reactions of the world.

1. Economic Sanctions against North Korea just like those put against Putin and Russia.
2. Japan might declare war on North Korea.
3. A Naval blockade of North Korea by Japan or the U.S. or both.
4 Economic sanctions from all countries in the world who feel harmed in their freedoms by North Korea doing this.

So, I guess what I'm saying here is what North Korea has done here might unravel the North Korean government's ability to even stay in power any longer because of the reactions of the nations of the world.

Will any of the things I illustrate here happen?

I don't know.

However, this might be the single most serious thing North Korea has done to the free world since the 1950s in regard to harming the free world and it's governments and it's businesses ever. So, don't be surprised whatever happens now.

It is even possible that this might be how the next World War begins over privacy and Freedom of Speech and artistic expression.

Time will tell.

I know this all sounds pretty strange. However, if you are intelligent I know you will follow most of what I'm saying here. And the potential for harm to the free world if this is mishandled is as great as it has ever been.

If the KGB had planned it it would make a whole lot more sense to me than North Korea doing this. However, if Putin planned this or sanctioned this since he is KGB trained it would make the most sense of all.

This kind of attack on Sony is insidious in it's nature. It's like a Trojan Horse where only if you are very intelligent do you see the full harm to the free world this could do if left unchallenged.

And yet challenging it might be the most difficult thing of all to do successfully because of the way  Russia and China are right now.

In the end Russia and China are the real problem and North Korea is the Crazy Nephew of both of them.

So, any retaliation at all China and Russia might say, "Hey. Stop picking on our insane nephew!"

Now I think you see my point.

Later:

After thinking about this for 24 hours or more I also researched that this type of thing has happened to 1000s of other U.S. companies too.

The difference this time is that because of civil suits and legal encumberances because of the release of social security numbers, credit cards and other serious information of employees of Sony, Sony had no choice but to release this information so it could be classified as a terrorist attack or an act of war on the U.S. and Japan. By doing this they likely lessened their legal liability as a company ongoing.

However, the problem with this for the world is we might be seeing something that could create a very public kind of war or cyber war ongoing too which may or may not result in violence of one kind or another in the near or far future because of this pubic admission of what has happened to Sony.

It's true the the U.S. has been in a Cyber War with Russia and China for at the very least 10 years or more now. However, none of the parties want the public to know very much about this so people don't have to die in a real war or have the nukes come out at some point and end the Earth and all life upon it.
