First of all, the U.S. Government is planning an announcement tomorrow with evidence that North Korea itself perpetrated this attack on Sony pictures. If that weren't strange enough, 2nd any single person who did something like this to Sony Pictures other than a national leader likely would have just been disappeared from the face of the earth never to be heard from again. No questions asked.
However, this was not only an attack on Sony Pictures but also a direct attack on not only the U.S. but also Japan and also Freedom of speech worldwide. So, something like this cannot go unanswered. So, it is what might be called a "Triple Threat". So, how the world handles this should be very interesting.
The answer will show us if Freedom of Speech will go on in existence in regard to artistic creations in all venues here on earth or not?
My wife and her friend were saying how this reminds them of what happened to the Dutch Artist who drew pictures that Muslims didn't like in Europe. It's sort of like that because North Koreans are taught to think of Kim Jong Un like a God like his father and Grandfather before him. So, one could say that to the North Koreans they are taught to worship Kim Jong Un like a God. This is why this movie is so disturbing to this point of view.
However, most Americans might not understand this unless it was directly explained to them. Also, this likely would be true of most people on earth as well.
Also, Sony pictures likely is worth much more money than the entire country of North Korea is worth presently which makes this even more strange in a variety of ways at once.
