Tornado Warnings for Santa Cruz and Monterey Counties in California?

This is definitely getting strange now. If you live now or ever lived in California (North or South) or even have visited here you definitely aren't going to be expecting tornadoes here 99.9% of the time year after year. In the last 20 years there has only been one incident I remember when a twister was strong enough to tear apart someone's greenhouse near Salinas. That's it!

So, this is pretty crazy on top of the flooding now happening in Northern and Southern California too.

The warnings went out from the National weather service to prepare for one or more tornadoes in Santa Cruz and Monterey Counties around 8:30 Pacific time about 15 minutes ago.

So, if you live in these areas be sure to pick a bathroom (if you can) with no windows in the center of your house and get a mattress ready to get into your bathtub in that room as a family with a mattress over you for flying objects should this occur where you live. All the family climbs into the bathtub (without water) and then you pull the mattress over you if it is taking out your windows or taking your roof off.

Most people in California don't have basements to get into unless they have bomb shelters from the early 1960s.
