U.S. Considering Sanctioning Chinese banks North Korea does business with

To impress upon North Korea that what they did was really harmful to the whole free world Sony, the U.S., Japan, on top of what they did to South Korea banks recently as well, the U.S. is considering sanctioning Chinese banks that North Korea does business with to cut off all funds from the outside world to North Korea.

However, as I was listening to people on CNN talk about doing this, they also said that it likely would take an act of Congress to get the President on board with doing this to sign this act into being. But, basically this might be the only useful way to make North Korea stop doing this kind of thing to South Korea, Japan, The U.S. other countries and Sony and other countries and Companies and individuals worldwide.

The intent is not to start a war with North Korea (and indirectly China and Russia) but to make North Korea suffer enough to stop doing stuff like this and this is one way the U.S. thinks it could make North Korea stop doing stuff like this to the world.

The above information came from: "The Situation Room" with Wolf Blitzer on CNN this afternoon Thursday December 18th 2014.
