Son Visiting

If you were wondering why I'm not blogging as much lately it is because my son is visiting. So, when I returned from Hawaii on Sunday I had to turn around and then go pick up my son at the Airport on Tuesday.

So, he is sort of jet lagged from that. So, I haven't been blogging as much because whenever he is awake we are out shopping or visiting the area he used to live in here. We also got a call from an old friend who is a cameraman and documentary producer worldwide and he likely will come up from Los Angeles to see my son because they haven't seen each other since he visited here about a year ago when my son was here. Being a new Dad and Husband my son is pretty busy now financially supporting the 3 of them so he has a lot less time for visiting everyone. However, he managed somehow to get away for awhile to see his family and likely will at least once a year ongoing now.

So, since it is only once a year I'm prioritizing the time I have with my son. The documentary producer, director and cameraman lived in Libya for a time about the same time Qaddhafi died in Benghazi, LIbya producing a documentary about Libya  then. He said that he knew the Jewish reporter from the U.S. that was beheaded during this time and was one of his friends. Another friend of his was Masoud who recently died from a heart attack who was about 41 and something like a Bob Marley for Libya in that he was a well known musician championing freedom for Libyans.

So, my friend's friend from High school is a very interesting fellow traveling around the world meeting amazing people wherever he goes in Europe, the Middle East and the U.S. and Hawaii.

He mentioned that he was going to do a documentary about "Global Explorer" and is going on an expedition to the South Pole later this year.
