What would stop Al Qaeda and Houthis and ISIL and Hezbollah in the Middle East Cold?

Jobs.

These young men who are joining all these groups are basically like Gangs throughout the world. It is a brotherhood (and sisterhood?) of young people without hope for food, jobs, or a future. So, they are fighting for a future and dying in droves because there are no other jobs than getting paid to kill one side or the other. so, in this sense it is a lot like the Crips and the Bloods here in the U.S. It is like the Nortenos and Surenos here in the U.S. fighting over jobs or drug money or territory or women or whatever.

It is almost exactly the same thing in the middle east. These are basically gang members with no future fighting for their lives and for a future and most die just like most eventually die in gangs here in the U.S. if they stay in long enough.

The main difference is that most gang members here in the U.S. don't use Kalashnikov sub machine guns and RPG (rocket propelled Grenades) when they fight.
