Ex Machina (2015) - IMDb
www.imdb.com/title/tt0470752CachedDirected by Alex Garland. With Domhnall Gleeson, Corey Johnson, Oscar Isaac, Alicia Vikander. A young programmer is selected to participate in a breakthrough ...This movie sort of begins where the movie "Her" left off. So, in "Her" you have a relationship with an AI female? personality that progresses through various stages. However, in Ex Machina you have the next step which is a relationship with a physical AI creation (AI is Artificial Intelligence). So, as long as you are ready for it to get pretty scary towards the end this is a very sophisticated view of AI creations and genuine human reactions to them. So, if you get the chance and are at all interested in what real physical AI beings will be like this might be an introduction to all that. So, if you get the chance, go see it.When I was 18 these are the kind of things I wanted to build. But, in 1966 when I graduated High School it didn't take me long to figure out that it might take 50 years(which it already has) to be able to actually build something like the creations in this movie. However, it is now actually possible to create something like this by combining enough processes in the same processor that would be like a human brain on board a robotic life form. Whether the brain would reside where we have it or in the chest or just be a mainframe that transmitted it's awareness to the robotic form it is hard to say at this point. But, I believe it is now possible (with infinite resources) to actually create something like Ava.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
