Fahrenheit that is:
The temperatures have really been nice this week and will stay nice through Sunday when they are expected to drop to the mid 60s Fahrenheit until about next Friday once again and be 76 degrees through about 81 degrees with intermittant showers a couple of those days.
Today even though it is overcast a little I'll probably go up to Castle Lake and possibly go Kayaking if it seems warm enough to be happy doing that there. Because when you are boating and paddling you are always going to get a little wet paddling (it's somewhat inescapable). So, this is something to think about whenever you have to paddle. However, my friend says he has a 12 volt electric motor which means we might even stay completely dry if we go kayaking this time.
Later: When we reached Castle Lake it was very windy and somewhat overcast so we decided to walk around to the back side of the lake because everyone seemed to be leaving for one reason or another. So, it was really great for me to basically have to share the whole lake with only one other person, my friend. I asked him if Lady of the Lake (an area my wife named) because it is sort of a magical place she likes where Tiger Lilies grow and Venus Fly traps grow in the midst of summer but he said it wouldn't be blooming this early.
The UC Davis research lab on the lake posted the temperature of the lake right now at 58 Degrees Fahrenheit, so even though I waded in the lake with shorts on most people aren't going to be diving in unless they have a full wet or dry suit on, at least at this point.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
