Could Going into Syria actually be Good for Putin in the end?

Yes. If he can be successful in what he is presently doing and if this results in raising the price of oil it could make the Russian Government and it's people wealthy again(at least in regard to oil revenues) and government programs feeding the poor in Russia. So, if he can manipulate this situation into raising oil prices it could keep him in office for the rest of his life potentially.
