- This is a great movie for the whole family (unless you are really afraid of ghosts) but remember this is a comedy so it's all in fun. this particular movie my wife loved when I first met her in late 1994, so by 1995 I saw it for the first time as we spent our first Halloween together. So, every year since then we watched it once for Halloween as a family tradition. I really love this movie because it is funny yet very moving in a variety of ways. In other words everything is dealt with very well. And if you have ever been to Ireland, Scotland or England and never experienced any ghosts yourself then I would have to say you are in denial. But then again I've seen ghosts all my life and have gotten used to the idea that they are real. (even though sometimes this was really rough as a child). If scientifically understand something it is much easier to deal with and stay centered. If you are afraid of ghosts the first thing to know is you must shut off being afraid or you might have a heart attack or die. Because when you are around ghosts that don't like people they will steal your energy if you are afraid of them. So, you must first learn to shut off your fear like if you were in a war like a soldier. Because in reality if you are afraid around ghosts (especially ones that aren't nice) you could just have a heart attack and die or have a stroke. So, stop being afraid. This is the first step.
- Because a real ghost that isn't nice might turn you into one too!
- Happy Halloween!
