The Republican Party can no longer Lead in the House

Why is this?

I think the main reason is that right now the Republican party is really two or three parties and not one.

First you have the Conservative Base, then you have the Tea Party and then you have the Moderates which are much closer to be like a Democrat than anything else.

However, all three factions of the party hate each other with vengeance. So, instead of a party that presently has a majority in congress they act like a minority Party out of favor.

But, if you look even closer at demographics for example, the Republicans can no longer Demographically ever elect a Conservative President Ever again. If you are realistic about this even the last Bush President was a Compassionate Conservative which actually means he was a moderate like his father in the late 1980s.

For example, demographically it would not longer be ever possible to elect someone like Reagan ever again because most of the people that elected him are now dead who are white wasp Republicans. And Republicans are not replacing themselves through birth so they are declining in numbers every day and every year while the Democratic party of all minorities grows and grows.

So, what this means in real terms is that Republicans can win the Congress sometimes but it is really meaningless because they cannot elect ever another Reagan.

And the average American right now is completely disgusted with the Republican Party for shutting down Congress in the past and I also would have to say that even Boehner is disgusted with the Republican party or he wouldn't be resigning this month.

And to add insult to injury it the Republican Party is not now expected to win the Presidency this year either because of this Chaos. So, every day this chaos continues the party's chances of electing a President diminish even further.

Even Paul Ryan doesn't want the job of Speaker party because even he knows he can't get ALL the Republicans to vote together on ANYTHING.

Then, here is the most important thing of all.

The Speaker of the House becomes President of the United States if something happens to the President and Vice President. So, you want whoever who becomes Speaker to be a moderate so he doesn't just nuke the whole world out of existence in a fit of rage from extreme views.
