Everyone knows that ending Obamacare will kill thousands of people. If those thousands of dying people and their lawyers sue the government for wrongful death, the government will be liable for millions and billions of dollars in damages in wrongful death suits.
One of the reasons is precedent. People who lived without Obamacare before have been able to stay alive when they would have died without it. So, now they have it, taking it away from them legally could be construed as murder or manslaughter by the U.S. Government.
It's all about precedent. Once you give people a way to stay alive and then you take that away from them you are liable for their deaths. And this is what will happen to the U.S. government if and when it takes away Obamacare.
It also has been said that ending Obamacare now may bankrupt the U.S. government for a variety of reasons beyond thousands of potential manslaughters that the government will be held liable for.
