The Greatest Fear before the Election

You might say, "Our greatest fear did come to pass."

No. You are wrong.

The greatest fear was that there would be no election decided and that there would be a revolution and our system of governance would collapse. That was always the greatest fear.

Now, we have an elected president even though he lost the popular election like Bush did too in 2000.

So, you might think the worst has happened.

NO. The worst would have been if no president was elected at all by the people.

Now the biggest fear is the peaceful transition of power.

Later Trump might be impeached like they tried to impeach Nixon before he resigned for incompetence or conflict of interest.

But, actually that is not the biggest fear now. The actual biggest fear is a peaceful transition of power from one administration to another.

We had another election like this in 2000 where Gore won the popular vote too but the Supreme court gave it to Bush (Scalia decided it would go to Bush instead of Gore) by only about 500 votes. Most of us thought this was very corrupt in a republican state like Florida with Bush's brother in charge of the election results there.

Can the Obama administration transfer power peacefully to a completely incompetent Trump administration?

I don't know. Then it would not be about the peaeeful transfer of power but how incompetent the people Trump chose were which is a completely different thing.

Without a quality government our whole government might collapse and our nation over, our nukes flying all over the place killing people etc. IF the nation's national security people declare "No Confidence" in Trump's people the government might not be transferred until trump gets his act together for the safety of america and the whole world.

Nothing this crazy has happened before. NO one as crazy as Trump ever got elected as president before.

(At least in the United States this is true).

We have histories of people like Trump all over the world to study of the harm they did already worldwide which cost the lives of millions of people and more.

However, Gore being a Gentleman of the South and not wanting to see a bloody revolution in America conceded as a good southern Gentleman to Bush(another southern Gentleman from Texas).

Now, Hillary Clinton even though she won the popular vote by more than 1.5 million votes already and more likely soon, conceded to Trump already like a lady caring about her country enough to concede much like Gore in 2000.

So, if we can survive the peaceful transfer of power and we survive whatever Trump is going to do there might just be a United States of America still alive and kicking in 2020 that is still an actual democracy in a Republic.
