At this point his shutdown might be about more than the wall. I think he wants to hamstring the FBI from investigating him as they are not being paid at all right now. Also, I think he wants to hamstring the IRS so they don't have enough personnel to give the House his IRS returns of the last 20 years or so as they are asking for. So, as the shutdown lengthens and lengthens it becomes more suspicious of exactly why he is making 800,000 people and their families suffer like this because it now makes no sense at all otherwise.
