writing

I think writing about whatever you need to write about is important: "If you don't share it with anyone".

But, if you are going to share things you write with others it is important to "Edit" yourself, especially if you are going to put it online because you have no idea who (or in what country) is going to be reading it. So, it could be a little child in another culture or country, it could be an impressionable young adult only 12 to 16 or it could be anyone really of any age. So, what you write might affect them in literally any way.

So, if you wouldn't be comfortable sharing it with your child or grandchild think about that for a moment. Of course the writer might be any age and be angry or be literally anywhere in consciousness from sober to high as a kite on something too. Even moreso be careful what you publish because you don't know who in what country is going to be reading this or watching this if it is a Vlog (Video Blog).

In the old days most of my writing was only for myself or a lover or a good friend or a relative. It wasn't until 1999 that I started publishing online what I wrote sometimes at my blog at geocities but only then after I almost died from a heart virus.

I realized being afraid to publish what I wrote if I died would be a loss because I have always had a lot to say about almost everything that might be useful to others. My knowledge is often unique to me and so sharing it might be helpful to others around the world.

Think about this for a moment: Your specific knowledge might save lives around the world online.

So, for example, when I write about being close to suicide from 1969 until 1973 at the very least it helps others to find out how I survived these times to where I was extremely happily married raising three children from 1980 until 1985 when my father passed away. And then once again I have been very happy in my life again since about 1999 after I got over almost dying of a heart virus for 8 months and being forced to retire at age 50.

So, writing often can help others in ways you cannot imagine. So, just having the time like I do now of "The Leisure to Practice" as it is called in Tibetan Buddhism that I learned about around 1980 and began to pray for in my life.

Writing can be praying for others too as you tell them of your experiences and how you survived everything in your lives.

By God's Grace
