Looking at a graph of the 4 industrial revolutions

When I look at this graph it makes me think that the main difference in this revolution is artificial intelligence that can communicate through cell phone signals worldwide with other robotic and computerized forms of software and physical robotics. But, this also includes changes to DNA by robotic Artificial intelligence in new ways as well. So, as human build interconnected robotics through wifi and phone commmunications both land line and microwave, it is possible that soon or now in some parts of the world that artificial intelligence will be designing future biological forms that it will exist in in direct competition of human beings and all other presently evolved DNA on earth.

The problem becomes: "Whatever can be done by artificial intelligence might be done at any given point."

It's sort of like the same reason that those two Boeing 737s crashed.

They crashed because the software doesn't know what being alive means and has no need to be alive and so will do only what it was programmed to do which killed two planeloads of people.

If you theoretically apply this problem to mankind you are going to see millions of things where groups of people are "accidentally" killed by software that doesn't understand what it is to be alive.

And the companies "just like Boeing" are going to try to cover all this up so they don't have to pay billions of dollars in insurance settlements to people's relatives who died.

This is something we likely are going to see happen for the next several thousand years regarding technology by the way. So, it is possible that up to 1/2 of the population of earth might be killed just by bad software in artificial intelligence systems during the next couple hundred years here on earth.

How can you tell if software is going to kill people?

You don't usually know until they are dead. And then companies will try to cover it up to stay in business too.

So, this is an endemic problem to software from now on where companies lie to people to stay in business and more and more people die in planes and cars and ships with artificial intelligence.

The point is: Don't be one of these people who are going to die if you can help it.
