Mostly highs of low 70s at the beach in Santa Barbara this week
So, it's been a really nice time to be here even though I would say the Spring peak of wildflowers for the area was about 2 or 3 weeks ago when we were also here. Traveling to and from the SF BAy area and back to Santa Barbara has also been gorgeous with Yellow and purple and Golden flowers and even the Golden California poppies are out many places. Yellow mustard and other yellow wildflowers are also on the rolling hills with a lot of wild oak trees several hundred years old between San Francisco and here. The rivers are also full of water from the seeming never ending rain (at least once a week between December and April so far from Santa Barbara north all the way up into Canada. The yellow flowers and sometimes poppies begin the spring wildflower season when we get enough rain like we finally did this year. Then usually a little later come the Purple wild Lupine in fields growing everywhere too.
