We wound up watching it on Amazon Prime tonight and found it funny and entertaining but the villians might scare littler kids some. They are the 7 deadly sins mostly and one human possessed by all of them.
Some story elements follow here so if you want to be completely surprised don't read this:
Shazam is a 15 year old kid who when he says "Shazam" converts into a late 20s early 30s superman type of character that shoots lightning bolts out of his hands, goes really fast, and can fly and do other stuff. Billy is the 15 year old and "Shazam" is the 20 something to early 30 something superhero he turns into. He and his "Group home" friends, since Billy is "sort of" an orphan of sorts (not exactly) learn about him being "Shazam" eventually. But, parts of this movie are really funny and parts very serious too. But, it can be very entertaining if the people or kids watching don't get too scared by the 7 deadly sins in CGI.
