Compassion for yourself and others

If you don't have compassion for yourself often you cannot have compassion for others but if you don't have compassion for others you cannot really have compassion for yourself either.

So, developing compassion for yourself and others might be the single most important thing you do in this lifetime.

You might say, "What about making money?"

My answer: "If you don't have compassion for yourselves and others you won't be able to hang onto money or to grow it properly so your wealth becomes God's gift to everyone including yourselves and your families."

So, without compassion for yourselves and others the whole thing doesn't really work in the sight of God.
