For some they would call this "The Search for Enlightenment".
You might say that there is no place of safety and possibly you could be right. But, to always stay in a place of fear and trepidation also reduces your lifespan as well. Which is one reason why animals and people build houses or go into caves where they feel more safe than out in the open. But, you could go into a closet to pray or to read a book when all around you is crazy in your life. You could go to a library where other people searching for knowledge or peace go. You could go into the wilderness like I did a lot and still do in my life whenever I can or you could go into a church if that helps you feel safer in these times.
But, without some place of safety whether it is real or imagined or both people start to unravel and go crazy often and go into a place of PTSD where they cannot recover. So, feeling safe in your mind and heart is also necessary for human sanity and survival.
When you are young often you want excitement and you want to meet people especially of the opposite sex if that is your preference. But, as you get older you might want aloneness or just being with one special person that you trust.
So, designing your life like an engineer would allows you to stay sane and healthy and live a really long time. Being practical and pragmatic and raising yourself like you would a son or daughter and caring for yourself allows you to better survive and be happy into a very long life that might span the globe in many different ways.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
