We have an atmospheric river coming to California from the Hawaii Area

They said to expect 20 to 40 or even 50 miles per hour winds with rains starting by Saturday about 10 AM and it would get progressively worse until Monday basically. It sounded like the commute to San Francisco Jobs would be pretty bad Monday morning if nothing changes and power outages caused by high winds were likely late Sunday night and Monday morning.

Where we live we could get 10 inches of rain by Monday or Tuesday with another storm after this one. This looks even more serious in it's own way than the last storm which opened (with one storm) about 10 ski lifts in the Sierras already. So, it looks like we might be in for it this winter the way things are presently going here in California and for that matter all across the U.S. It's presently snowing in Gorman on Interstate 5 Grapevine too at 23 degrees. However, at least for now the Grapevine and Interstate 5 looks open at present from San Diego to the Oregon Border. But, at 23 degrees you should definitely be looking for Black ice tonight.
