Thinking in terms of survival

Some of the studies of people surviving plane crashes might be helpful to understand how people survive things that are not expected in their lives.

The people who survive horrific events that are apocalyptic like this think like this:

"How can I take an interest in my own survival and the survival of my family and the people here I'm with?"

The people who DO NOT survive plane crashes in remote areas start saying things like:

"Why did the plane crash?" This is Awful! I won't survive!"

Then they just spin forever in these three or four ways of thinking until they auger in and either psychologically or physically or usually both and then they are gone.

So, the first thing you have to do to survive apocalyptic situations like the ones we are presently facing worldwide is to realize "THERE IS NO ESCAPE ANYWHERE ON EARTH FROM THIS RIGHT NOW!"

This might be the single most important thing for people to realize.

"THERE IS NO PLACE THAT DOESN'T NOW HAVE OR SOON WILL HAVE CORONAVIRUS!"

Then the next thought needs to be:

"How can I survive this and how can I help my family survive these times?"

I have had survival training where they give you a knife and a blanket and that's all and you just have to survive with that.

I also have gone 4 days and nights without water and food on a vision quest.

Because of this kind of wilderness survival training psychologically at least I'm much better prepared than most people to survive these kinds of things.

Because of this studying how to train yourself to survive these kinds of things might be helpful around now.

Because most of it is psychological how you orient your self for long term survival.

But, most of it is being very present in the now and realizing what needs to be done right now in order to survive another moment or another day.

By being very present in your lives and solving all problems as they arise one by one you learn how to be a long term survivor and to help your family and friends do the same.
