By sheltering in place sooner than any other state we have many less cases here in California. However, it must be noted also that California and Washington state were hit the first with cases earlier than other states so we had more time to think about what to do next than states being impacted hard to the east of us.
It was a big surprise for New York and New Jersey when they got hit hard all at once for example. They just didn't expect it to do this like it did.
However, every other state needs to look at what happened to New York and think about what is going to happen where the live?
Because if you don't shut down soon enough many people in your state that don't need to die will eventually from all this. You just haven't seen anything like this in your state before so you might not believe it until it actually happens.
This goes also for countries that haven't been hit hard all over the world yet from coronavirus.
Eventually, this virus is going to get to everyone and everybody worldwide. It's just a matter of time now. But, by sheltering in place you can slow down the spread so your whole society and civilization doesn't have to collapse completely. But, you have to shelter in place soon enough to do this.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
