You are needed for Earth to survive and go on.
However, from my experience it was very very hard to survive between 12 and 30 years of age. It took everything I had and all the praying I could do to make it to 30. Usually, by 30 you either have your act together or not. But, luckily, I made the right choices and I had good parents who were always there for me until they passed away (my father in the mid 1980s) and my mother (in 2008). So, because my parents were always there for me I made it to 30, raised my children, started businesses and made a success out of my life.
However, it wasn't always easy to choose to stay alive until my son was born when I was 26 and I realized I couldn't be selfish enough to take my own life then.
So, it could be said I lived on for others but in reality: "NO MAN IS AN ISLAND". We are all a family. It's only an illusion that we are alone anyway.
We live on for all of us to help each other and this is reality.
