Portland is having Antifa problems

My son was telling me how crazy things are in Portland. Both he and one of my daughters live there. Why? It's usually a safe place to live and one of the stranger things about this city is that it is the "Whitest" large city in the U.S. Most people don't know this.

So, the 1960s and 1970s ethics are still alive here partly because of this. And yes, it is "Portlandia" in many ways and the most famous bumper sticker reads "Keep Portland Weird" which basically means people like it the way it is. But, why do many people live there? Clean Air and the cost of living is lower than anywhere in California or Washington States. So, for example where I live on the Northern California coast you can barely rent one room in a house for 800 to 1000 dollars a month here on the coast. But, in Portland you can still rent a one bedroom with a loft on top of that for about 1000 a month in a beautiful area and you can actually afford to live there comfortably unlike most places in California (especially on the California coast) where if you don't own your own home your rent is going to keep going up through the roof in a never ending way on into infinity. So, a good part of living in Portland is clean air and good living and forests everywhere and Mt. Hood that you can see from Portland most days if it isn't too cloudy. Seattle by the way when it isn't cloudy in Seattle you can see mount Rainier too. So, mountains and forests and even ocean within a half hour or hours drive from Portland and rivers like the Columbia river too make this a beautiful spot to live. The Columbia river is the biggest river on the west coast of the U.S. and larger even than the Sacramento River which I believe is the 2nd largest river on the west coast of America.

But, the antifa problems also come from the whiteness of this city where people get college educated but then think the government (any government is bad) and go antifa which usually means anarchist too. So, when you go anarchist it's pretty much like being on the other extreme which is KKK where you want to overthrow the government. In fact, there is some news about leftist anarchists getting together with rightest anarchists to plan the fall of the U.S. government nationwide.

So, when you hear about them toppling a Thomas Jefferson Statue in Portland you know things have just gone too far.
